"The first invoice in the sequence will be generated now. Are you sure?"
I have lots of recurring profiles. I just had to edit one, so I made it draft and did the changes.
When switching it back to active, I now get this message :
"The first invoice in the sequence will be generated now. Are you sure?"
So I click nervously click OK, and a new draft invoice appears in my invoice list, dated October 2010!
Surely that isn't right? I only wanted to make a change to the recurring profile from next year, not generate the actual invoice immediately!
Help!

Inappropriate?A follow up on this:
This is only a problem for recurring profiles that have already been invoiced. In my case the recurring profile produced its first invoice on Oct 9th 2009. Three weeks later I needed to edit the profile so I changed it to draft and made the changes. Upon trying to make the profile active, it tried to generate another invoice for Oct 9th 2009, despite the fact that it had already done so.
A workaround is to make the recurring profile draft, make the changes, then click edit, change the Start Date to next year, save, and then activate.

Inappropriate?Hi Lewis,
That doesn't sound right obviously. I've imported this into our customer support site so we can resolve it, if that's okay. -
