a few tweaks after 1 year of use
Home tab:
#1 Under the tax timetime it would be great if you still listed the entries, for example up to 7 dates, once their due date. In case you forgot to do something, you are no longer reminded once the date has passed. Or Even better add it to 'overdue bills'. I recently forgot to pay a PAYE bill as the reminder had dropped off the timeline so I was not being prompted anymore.
#2. Under 'projects with unbilled items', it would be great if you can get rid of the ghost projects that have been completed and fully invoiced but still get listed here. I no longer display this module as it is very inaccurate.
Work Tab:
#1. Set hourly rate and payment terms globally (at least per client).
#2. When you create a new project, why does the clietn contact drop down also list suppliers?
#3. Within a project: It would be useful to be able to add a notes/comments field to a project.
Invoices:
#4. The ability to group multiple projects into one invoice (Ed - you have already told me how I can achieve this), to save you sending out multiple invoices. This can be done but it currently lists only the last project you add to the invoice as having a net £ total against it. All the other projects have £0 invoiced listed.
Eg: Project 1 = £10, Project 2 = £5 and Project 3 = £20 but under Projects>Completed projects they are listed as Project 1 = £0, Project 2 = £0 and Project 3 = £35. So at a glance you can't see the values of each project you have to open the communal invoice.
#5. When viewing your projects summary and you want to find a completed project it would be great if this could be listed by client and not every project you have done - our list is very long and takes a while to display. If it displayed the projects for your first client (alphabetically) and then there was a drop down to flick between clients.
#6 When you create an invoice it list all the projects for the clients, at one point it did only list active projects when is far clearer but this function was lost along the way after an update.
#7. When you create a pdf of an invoice and it needs to go over multiply pages, it would be useful if page 1 what a subtotal and then the listing continued on page 2 and this page also had the invoice number and dates etc in the header.
#8 Within Time tracking: When you make a report the contacts drop down should be listed alphabetically.
Bills tab:
#1. It would be useful to view 'Open & overdue' bills bundled together.
My Money:
#1. The ability to have petty cash as it works in the real world - the ability to list a cash withdrawal as petty-cash. I know that at the moment you you make the purchase yourself and then make an expense claim.
Overall - we are very happy with how it works and look forward to the improvements you allude to in Get Satisfaction.

Inappropriate?Hi Tony,
Thanks for taking the time to post your ideas.
I won't go through every point right now, but suffice to say that many of the things on your list are planned for the future already.
And we'll definitely keep the other things in mind when we come to revise those sections as well.
I’m very grateful for the input
