Accountants experiences with consolidating their clients accounts into FreeAgent?
I am interested in hearing from accountants who are currently using FreeAgent with their clients and their experiences with consolidating accounts from other systems into FreeAgent. In particular I would like to hear if there are problems with calculating Capital Allowances.
Also, are you a FreeAgent user who's accountant is having problems using the accounts engine in FreeAgent? I'd like to hear your experiences.

I realise you're looking for Accountants opinions here, but is there anything specific that we can help you with or you feel is wrong with the software?
We have a number of accountants who have migrated large numbers (hundreds) of users onto FreeAgent successfully.
There's always improvements to be made however, and we are working closely with our accounting partners (and our own in-house accountant) to improve our accounting engine.
But like I say, if you have a specific query then let me know. -
Inappropriate?I don't know enough about accountancy to know if there is an issue with the way it handles accounts. I'm trying to find out if other accountants / users have had problems and if I'm being reasonable to assume that I should be able to get my accounts entered accurately into the system. At the moment my accountant is not able to consolidate my accounts successfully. I understand he has been in touch with you to let you know why and I understand that you've also explained to him that there are issues with the system.
Before I decide if I need a new accountant I need to know what I should expect from an accountant using the system. My feeling at the moment is that I will need to find one that is prepared to work in a certain way to get the figures in properly. I'm not completely sure I want my accounts hacked just to get them into Freeagent ... so I'm looking to hear from other users/accountants who've had similar experiences.
