Add support for Erste Bank CSV Import - The format of that CSV file has not been recognised
Hi,
my bank ("Erste Bank" in Austria) let's me export my credit card statements as CSV.
When I try to import this CSV with freeagentcentral, I get "The format of that CSV file has not been recognised"
The CSV file looks the following way:
Bezeichnung;Valutadatum;Betrag;Währung
"GODADDY.COM EUROPE inkl. Fremdwährungsentgelt 0,28";"13.05.2009";"-28,50";"EUR"
"Es wurden 1 Umsätze gefunden"
There are 3 lines in this example.
1. line translated, means: Description, Value Date, Amount, Currency
2. line: transaction data
3. line translated, means: "There were 1 transactions found"
Is it possible that you add support for this kind of CSV file?
Best regards,
Philipp Schmid

Inappropriate?Hi Philipp
Sorry for the delay in replying.
We can add support for this, sure. Before we do, can you confirm that Erste Bank don't support OFX or QIF formats as these should work automatically in FreeAgent.
If not please can you send an example file through to support at freeagentcentral dot com and we'll ensure support is added soon.
