Are there any guarantees for the advice in Ask an Expert?
"Ask an Expert" gives free advice, so is it fair to assume that there are no guarantees attached to said advice, as you would (should?) get if you paid an accountant?

Inappropriate?Fair comment, Guy.
We're trying to provide a way for people to get basic, generic advice which is surprisingly hard to get without going to a 'real' accountant. As soon as questions start to delve into specifics, we'd expect the conversation to be taken elsewhere, but hopefully to return with something everyone can learn from.
We planned it to be supported by our chums at Quay Accounting, but it seems others have been keen to chip in. We'd like to maintain some quality control on the answers, so we will be asking that only FreeAgent-Friendly partners contribute answers, and that after chatting to us about what we'd like to see (no jargon, no shameless plugging!)
I’m sure this is a Good Thing
