Inappropriate?Hi GJP
At the present time we support the following banks CSV formats:
- Abbey
- AMEX
- Barclays
- Cater Allen
- Co-operative
- HSBC
- Nordea
- Paypal Business
We have quite a few customers using HSBC without problems. Could you possibly send us your failing HSBC statement to support at freeagentcentral dot com so we can take a look? Feel free to anonymize the data but please keep the format intact. -
Inappropriate?Hi, I've been uploading statements from HSBC absolutely fine, until my business card statements in November of last year, have placed the money out details into the money in column. So I've tried to alter each one manually, and it creates duplicate items. This is still doing the same this month.
I'm using the quicken format, from HSBC, as the CSV isn't accepted by Freeagent.
My standard bank statements are working fine.
Thanks
Clare
Keep up the good work, big fan! -
Inappropriate?Hi Clare
Sorry you're having problems. There are known issues with HSBC credit cards -- take a look at this discussion which I think relates to the same issue:

I would recommend undoing the uploads where you noticed the problems (so there are no transactions with the amount in the wrong column) and then re-importing your modified file. This shouldn't cause duplicates to be added.
if this doesn't work, could you shoot me an email with example files and information about which duplicates are being created? olly at freeagentcentral dot com
