basecamp
I have been looking at basecamp recently (www.basecamphq.com). Actually the developers have a great suite of products for project, contact management etc (http://37signals.com/).
Wouldn't it be great (hint hint) if freeagent could integrate. Basecamp already works with freshbooks and others (for the US market)

Inappropriate?I'm looking at project management and bug/suggestion tracking systems too at the moment - currently looking at www.unfuddle.com which looks nice and has an API too...

Inappropriate?Oooh - has widgety goodness as well. Sweetness. I wonder if it's a bit too specialised. But hey - if we had a cracking API, maybe you could think of ways to take the two, mash 'em up and add something else into the mix?

We're big, big fans of Basecamp here at FreeAgent Central. We also use Highrise for all our comms management.
I can tell you integration would be a natural step at some stage (but is surprisingly tricky to make work two-ways). One for the future, though.

Inappropriate?Late to the party. I'm looking to use FreeAgent but I also need a Contact Management system. I use Bascamp, and am looking at Highrise so an integration there would be awesome.
Might I also suggest you consider Tactile CRM too? They're also UK based and have just offered a FreshBooks integration.
I'd love to be keeping my money in the UK for these services!

Yeah I#d have to agree with Hayley, it'd be great to have integration with Tactile. Out of all the CRMs it's the one that's drawing my attention more and more. If I could see in Tactile which contacts have got outstanding invoices and even more info that would be amazing!

Inappropriate?Integration with Basecamp was one of the first things I looked for in Freeagent, so it was unfortunate that there was no link up, hopefully it'll be there soon. Freeagent looks really good, but integrations look to be one of the main disadvantages over competitors. The UK focus and self assessment features still make it my choice though! Keep up the great work guys!

Inappropriate?Basecamp integration, and other integrations for that matter, are definitely on the cards, but we've been concentrating on developing great features for the core app up until now.

Inappropriate?I would be delighted to have this feature - currently running both and it would be great to have an integration tool. Any news guys? Sorry it is want, want, want, want with me but every development is really improving the site and leaves me wanting more so it's your fault really ;-)

Inappropriate?We do really want to do this too. In fact it's been sitting on the roadmap for ages now, but other things (like invoice reminders!!) keep getting pushed ahead of it :)
