buying things with company card, not bill or personal expense. where do I put it?
am I being thick here? :)
it's not an invoice, or something I have paid for out of my own money.

Inappropriate?Badger,
Anything purchased through the company bank account should be entered in the Banking section. The easiest way to do this is to upload your electronic bank statements which you download from your online banking site.

Inappropriate? If it's a company debit/bank card for your business account then Olly's right, just wait a couple of days until it appears in your bank statement downloads and deal with it then. The card is just the method of extraction... don't set it up as a card account.
But just in case...
If it's a separate company card (A company credit card, Amex, Mastercard, etc.) then set up a card account. When money moves from your bank account to your card account mark it as a transfer, explain the purchases in the card account.
This is the way you use the PayPal Account too if you have it set up for automatic bank funding.
Download your PayPal statement (it comes through first) and explain the purchase. You'll be left with an unexplained transaction hanging in your PayPal FA accounts. Explain it as a transfer from your Bank Account. In a couple of days when the Bank Statement catches up, explain the bank transaction as the other end of the transfer. -
Inappropriate?excellent, that statement upload will save me loads of work :)
thanks again guys, great system.
I’m happy
