Can I fill in Time Tracking, but bill for X days?
I want to fill in the correct amounts for Time Tracking, so my worked 'hours' look correct - however, I bill for a day (or part thereof), so I actually want to invoice based on the number of timeslips completed for each project, NOT for the total number of hours/8

Inappropriate?Tim,
You could fill in the timesheet 'correctly', include those timeslips in an invoice and then edit the resulting invoice item to reflect the billable number of days.
Even when edited beyond recognition, that invoice item will retain its link to the source timeslips, and they'll appear as rebilled.
(it might mess up your comparison against project budget in the future, though, if you care about that). -
Inappropriate? Not sure if it's exactly the same thing, but it would be handy to be able to generate the time tracking reports with an output in days, rather than hours; I think the number of hours per day is already recorded on a per-project basis? Like the original poster, I tend to bill in days, not hours.
Appreciate this might be problematic if you're generating cross-project reports, and the reports have a different number of hours per day.
I’m happy
