Can I View/Print a Client's Statement of Account?
Is there any way that I can print a complete statement of a client's account with all invoices, payments and balances for a given date range?

Inappropriate?Hi
This isn't possible at the present time, but it's a really good idea which we'll discuss further.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? Can you suggest any way of providing a client with a summary of what they owe and what they've paid?
-
Inappropriate?Sure thing.
If you click on a Contact, at the bottom of the page you'll see a table titled Account History, which should contain all the information you require:

One option which might work for you (but admittedly is a bit fiddly) would be to drag and select the text in this this table, then Copy and Paste it into Excel (or similar) and format it accordingly.

That's good enough for now. Thanks for the prompt reply. -
Inappropriate?Just to add weight to this - currently have lots of clients holding out on bills! Would love to send some PDF's of their accounts with me...
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I've found that some companies won't even consider payment unless a statement is sent - so this is a fairly important feature.

Inappropriate?100% required - we sell lots of small orders, so when a client has amassed a large debt which, they ask for a statement.
we ask for statements from our suppliers as they are very important.
it's frustrating that this feature is not available in freeagent as it must be relatively simple to implement. essentially, it's a list of all the bills outstanding.
if we have suppliers who are also customers, which is several, an amount "you owe them" which automatically deducts the amount "they owe us" is also pretty unhelpful, as this assumes the contra position.
Often, contras cause more confusion!
I’m frustrated
