Converting an estimate into an invoice and affect on Time Tracking?
I've converted an estimate into an invoice but also converted the time I'd estimated into time within the Time Tracking system so I could provide a report as well. I know have an open invoice but also a load of unbilled time for this project. Can I just right-off the unbilled time or do I need to go and remove it all?

I think the best solution would be -- assuming the two are equal -- to delete the invoice you created by converting the estimate and recreate it from the unbilled time. This would put the estimate back into an 'Open' state, but if you send an email to support at freeagentcentral.com we can re-associate the estimate with the new invoice.
Would the estimate total be the same as the total of the invoice you create from unbilled time? -
Inappropriate?Hi Olly. I'm not too bothered about the association between the invoice and the estimate and in the future I'm quite happy for the estimate to never become an invoice. It would be nice however if I could track my time as well as converting my estimate to the invoice. Ideally, the system would warn me that there was a discrepancy between the time logged and the invoice created but it would also allow me to make logged time exempt from billing ... maybe.
I'm not entirely sure what the answer is but it seems crazy that I can't log my time AND convert an estimate to an invoice.

Converting an Estimate to an Invoice whilst including unbilled time is actually quite tricky. I think a better solution might be to provide the ability to associate an existing invoices with an existing Estimate. -
Inappropriate?The ideal solution would be to log time that doesn't get billed. I could then just use my estimate as the invoice but still log my time on the project. I then use my time report to see if my estimate was accurate without creating unbilled time I can't invoice.
