error in calculation of vat due
Hi there. I was digging into why in FAC it was saying there was x amount distributable dividends ij the P&L but at the same time on the balance sheet it was showing a negative owner's equity of 12k. I've isolated this to an error in the calculation of the corporation tax liability and the inclusion of 2008/2009 liability in twice (albeit one is until June 2008).Could you please confirm that this is a glitch?
Also, when digging into the VAT Return, I can't seem to calculate the VAT due at the flat rate scheme percentage. The VAT numbers seem to be calculated at about 12.96%? Any ideas?
Thanks

Inappropriate?Gav, see my last post for the CT issue.
The Flat Rate VAT should be applied to the gross (vat-inclusive) sales? Is this how you've worked it out or do we need to dig bit more? -
Inappropriate?Aaaah, I didn't realise that the VAT due was calculated from the gross. Explained! Thanks!
