Exported invoices are mangled in OpenOffice 2.3
The invoices sheet in the XLS export is mangled in OpenOffice, showing a header line, then data, then a header line, then data. Worse, the header lines don't match up with the data they're supposed to describe. An example (in csv, since this forum doesn't allow me to do fixed width text):
project_id,reference,dated_on,sent_on,status,comments
1511,<an-invoice-number>,Tue Jan 22 00:00:00 UTC 2008,Sent
invoice_id,project_id,item_type,quantity,price,description,sales_tax_rate
1534,<an-invoice-number>,Tue Jan 22 00:00:00 UTC 2008,1.0,Sent,Bandwidth Q1 2008 ,17.5
Also, there isn't an invoiced amount. I'm afraid I don't have a copy of Excel to verify this against, only OpenOffice 2.3.

Inappropriate?Guy,
You're right - and it's the case in Excel as well. We're including the invoice items as well as the invoice and erroneously overwriting some of the invoice parameters.
Another one for the 'fix for next week' list, I'm afraid.
BTW we consider the Excel export as an archive-type function. Is there an output you're needing on a regular basis that we might support. Export the screens from the Invoices tab as CSV, for example?
I’m not an invoice number, I'm a free invoice reference!

No, not at the moment. I just wanted to make sure I could get data out in a tabular form, and noticed that the invoices were a bit broken looking... -
Inappropriate?Hi there Guy,
We have made a change to the XLS export so you should find the Invoices worksheet now has a much better structure.
Let me know what you think.
I’m much happier now
