How can I adjust my bank balance without affecting my accounts?
I'm just reconciling my freeagent bank balance (manual credits and debits) to my bank balance with my bank. I need to adjust the freeagent bank balance to make the account balance now match that with my other bank balance! Is there any way to do this without adjusting my company accounts? ie in opening balances section of settings? When I try and adjust anyof the sections under opening balances, it adjusts my accounts and doesnt affect the bank balance! Any help appreciated.

You can set an opening bank balance as part of each account's details.
Choose 'Edit Details' from one of the appropriate account's statement pages, and enter the balance amount and the date that the balance relates to.

We now relate all the bank balances to your FreeAgent start date. So you just need to get the appropriate statement to find out what that amount was.
Or if you opened the account after you started using FreeAgent, the number will be zero.
