How can I change tax code for previous employment?
I have entered previous employment earnings and income tax paid, into self-assessment return details 09/10, and under Step 3: Working out the tax due, it specifies for Non-savings, Deductions and Allowances at £6,475.00. I guess this relates to a tax code of 647L. My actual tax code during for this previous employment payroll is 618L. I will not be paying myself a salary for the rest of the current tax year, so won't be creating a payroll where I can enter a tax code.
How is it possible for me to change the tax code for previous employment, in order that the correct tax owed/refunded can be calculated?

Inappropriate?pandrew,
That tax code was used to work out the income tax paid during your previous employment, and doesn't affect your actual personal allowance. The idea is more that the HMRC are aware maybe of some other income you have (or have had in the past) which has used up some of your personal allowance, so that there's nothing left to pay come Self Assessment time.
Anyway, any owed/refunded tax will appear as a result of the Self-Assessment calculation within FreeAgent based on the other employment income you've received and the tax you've already paid.
