How can I upload a printed timesheet?
I'm required to fill in a printed timesheet for my consultancy work (to send to the agency) and I'd like to upload these to FreeAgent (ideally for sending along side the invoice to the agency, but at least for data retention purposes).
Is there any way/any plans to allow for uploading of timesheets (JPEG/PDF/GIF/PNG format) and attaching them to invoices? Your rival, "FB", has an "Uploaded Documents" section which at least lets you keep timesheets in their system (although it doesn't allow emailing of them).

Inappropriate?Richy,
There I was, thinking about what we could extend our Attachments upload to, and I had not thought of invoices. But there's a good case for it, and we shall make it so...

Inappropriate?Brilliant Ed: any idea when? I've got around 24 days of my trial left and I'd like to give FreeAgentCentral a good try and be able to do a "I've decided to switch from FB to FAC because..." style blog entry.
-
Inappropriate?Richy C, probably not in the next 24 days, sorry, but if you drop me an email with your account name I'll extend your free trial until we do (ed at freeagentcentral dot com)
Would that do?

Inappropriate?Hi Ed,
Many thanks - I'd love to take you up on the offer but I don't really want to "take advantage" of such a customer-orientated growing brilliant system. Is there any chance of just cancelling my account for now and once you've got the upload ability, I'll re-sign up (and hopefully only need around 2 days to check it'll do everything I'll need: apart for the signed timesheets, I don't think there's anything else). Of course, I'm about to blog about how brilliant your customer service is, so I may lose out on the referrals...
I’m more than happy with the response

No problem - just let your free trial lapse (rather than explicitly cancelling) and it'll still be there when you're ready to come back.

Inappropriate? This is a brilliant suggestion .... not about letting the free trial lapse, but about the uploaded signed timesheets. Because this is the only document which is facilitated outwith FA and I keep these week after week in a folder on my pooter. Really looking forward to this update happening! I think we should vote on moving this suggestion up the list!!
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Ed,
Can I humbly suggest that you think strongly about this as part of your "online filing cabinet" facility? It could be useful to extend the Attachment class to contacts and projects for all kinds of documents (software specifications, contracts, etc).
Please push the API along a bit too so that I can use it and start getting some software out there for everyone else too :)
Best,
Mike
I’m looking forward to all the new features :)
