How do I change an account type?
I have an account called "PayPal" which I have been using as a PayPal account since I started using FreeAgent last year. I originally configured it using Sort Code (00-00-00) and Account Number (00000000). I also have a Google Checkout account which is configured the same, but with account number (00000001).
I've noticed you have a "PayPal" type of account in addition to "Credit Card" and the standard "Bank Account".
Is it possible to change my "PayPal" account to a genuine PayPal account, and if so, what difference would this ultimately make?

It's not possible to do this in the FreeAgent interface but we can do it for you behind the scenes. If you drop me a line to olly [at] freeagentcentral,com with your company name, I'll make the change.
There's no real difference to these accounts from a functionality point of view, other than a Paypal account being identified by an email address as opposed to an account number and sort code.

Inappropriate?Olly, I have this issue too. I didn't notice the type selection when I first started using it. So now my VISA credit card account thinks its a regular account.
If this is something I can do with a REST PUT, lemme know. Else I'll need your intervention.

Is this because you're creating bank account data via the API? This is currency unsupported I'm afraid. -
Inappropriate?Olly, no, I created it along side my Checking account when I was first evaluating FA. But I neglected to set the type. If there's no way for me to change this via web or API, would you mind poking it for me? Thanks.
