Is it possible to save a default message for invoice emails?
I find myself having to retype the body of all invoice emails over and over again. It typically reads like this:

[contact_first_name],
Attached please find invoice number [reference] dated [invoice_date] in the amount of [amount_due]. This invoice is due [due_date]. If you would like to pay by credit card, please follow this secure link:
[paypal_payment_link]

This is a question that's come up a few times recently so we're thinking about the best solution.
We will be looking at adding automated email reminders for invoices and as part of that we're going to look at default email templates, but I can't give you an exact release date yet. -
Inappropriate?Would also love to see this implemented. Sometimes it's nice to be personal every time, but sometimes it's not practical especially for recurring invoices.
If a default message was saved, then at least we could have the option of just sending the standard message, or we could personalise it a bit where required.
@Roan: As you say, this would tie in with reminder e-mails - may I suggest that there be several different templates that can be set up (one for different lengths of time that the invoice is overdue). That way we can write more friendly messages for invoices only a few days overdue, and we can get a little more strongly worded for invoices several months overdue!

Inappropriate?As part of our invoices overhaul we'll be adding templates for emails, including recurring ones.
I'm not sure we'll have multiple templates for recurring invoices as you suggest Matthew. At least not in the first release, but we're confident it will be a big improvement.
