natiowide bank support
I have looked through the support pages and there is a suggestion that the Natiowide supports OFX export (http://www.freeagentcentral.com/suppo...). This may previously have been the case but the only export option now seems to be CSV, which is being rejected when I try and upload as "The format of that CSV file has not been recognised".
I have tried stripping out the header from the file with the same results.
Then I converted the file to the format suggest by Olly in this post "File format for CSV files - manually creating them", an example of which is below:
05/12/09,-2.40,"Oracle Centre PRK Upt READING."
05/12/09,-45.25,"ASDA Superstore READING."
This too was rejected with the same error message "The format of that CSV file has not been recognised".
How can I get tx records from the Nationwide into Free Agent?
Thanks
Neil

Inappropriate?OK so the Nationwide have confirmed that they do not support OFX, only CSV. So guys how do I import a CSV file successfully?
I’m Still fustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Neil,
Could you send a sample CSV file to support@freeagentcentral.com and we'll take a look.
Change the values if you like but obviously keep the structure in place.
I’m confident we'll get it sorted

Inappropriate?Hi Roan
I will send the file shortly but in the meantime you will be interested to know that the following exceltoqif add-in for Excel allowed me to convert the Nationwide csv file to something I could import.

Thanks
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Glad you found a workaround. Send us the CSV anyway and we'll make sure it is supported in the future.
