Number entree with comma
Grown up in the Netherlands, I'm used to typing an "," as decimal separator. With time tracking, an entree of "0,5" is translated to "5:00" hours. I have made this error quite a few times already.
Would it be possible to add some intelligence to number fields so that comma's will be translated to dots?

Inappropriate?Hey Thimo
We'll definitely look at allowing time to be entered in 0,5 form.
For entering numeric values in the app with commas as the decimal separator we'll need to do a little more work (we currently interpret "1,000" as "1000" as opposed to "1.000" for example). We've had requests already for making the number format configurable -- to allow amounts in the app to be rendered in the European form of €9,99 -- so when we get around to addressing this we'll look at improving the numeric entry too.
I can't give you a timescale on this though I'm afraid. -
Inappropriate?Hi Olly,
If you use a rule like "if comma then convert to dot unless there are 3 digits to the right of the comma", you'll be save 99% of the time. No need to make it a setting.
I’m happy about the excellent customer support
