Paypal Auto invoicing
We are currently using cashflow , but impressed by freeagent. Is there anyway you can autocreate invoices from paypal. Because we have 100s of transactions a day through paypal, it is hard to create invoice for each one . Our current software imports all the payments from paypal on an hourly basis, you can choose them all end of the day and it is automatically turned into invoices. Any similar facality in freeagent?

In fact we use FreeAgent ourselves for our own accounts, and we deal with lots of Paypal transactions like that too.
When you upload a Paypal statement FreeAgent automatically adds an explanation for the fee part of the transaction, and then, if the transaction type is 'Web Accept Payment Received', it explains it as 'Subscription Income' and assumes you're charging the standard rate of VAT.
(actually, if the original transaction was in USD but paid into a GBP Paypal account we also handle the conversion and assume no VAT is charged)
So we bypass the invoicing step and take care of that separately to FreeAgent (automated emails like you, probably).
Would that work for you, too, or is there something different you're doing that we could modify that to fit in with?
