PayPal CSV upload
Hi, I have created a new PayPal bank account. Uploaded the PayPal account history in CSV format. Now am going through matching the unexplained transactions to my invoices.
One issue I had is that one of my clients has her married name on her invoice. Her PayPal transaction is in her unmarried name. This has confused the system.
First off it wouldn't list up any possible invoices in the drop down dialog when matching unexplained transactions. So I clicked on the back button. Now I am getting 'Something bad has happened' if I try to view the PayPal account.

I'm not sure it's to do with the married/unmarried name thing - at the moment we don't attempt to match up invoice receipts with invoices.
We're taking a look right now to find out what went wrong.

Inappropriate?I've removed the offending entry, and we've worked out what went wrong:
We're displaying a list of unpaid invoices when you try to allocate the transaction to an invoice. Since you didn't have any, we should not have offered Invoice Receipt as an option.
The explanation was then created with a blank invoice reference, which we also shouldn't have allowed to happen. Trying to view this entry causes the problem to occur: FreeAgent can't display the invoice reference because there isn't one.
You'll need to create a new invoice to allocate this payment to, or mark a Draft one as Sent.
We're aiming to fix this problem by next week's release, so that it doesn't happen again.
