Report showing income from clients
Is it possible to pull off a report showing the total income receievd from each client over a set period? It would look like for example:
Trading year 2008/09
Client A £5,000
Client B £4,000
etc etc

Inappropriate?Hi Rich
There are no specific reports for clients like we have for timeslips right now, but if you view a client (Clients > Show) the Account History on that page will list all the invoices to and payments made by that client, including the totals.
We'll have a think about providing access to this data though, either via reports or some other way, as I can see how it would be useful.

Inappropriate?I'd really like to see this feature too. One of the only good things about Quickbooks is that you can pull off lots of reports, in fact there are too many reporting options. But, being able to see how much a client has spent over a year is very useful.
On that note, I'd also like to be able to create 'items' in the same way you can in QB - with items you can also create reports showing income from different items, which is also very useful.
So, for example with 'items' I can view overall spend for web design, HTML newsletter design, user testing, consultancy, etc.
Any plans for any of the above?
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Sales reporting would be an excellent addition. The Client Account History is one way of doing it, but I'd love to be able to run a report for a certain period (similar to the way you can view invoices/bills) and have FAC show me the total sales over that period.
If nothing else, this would make it easier to decide which clients get the extra big box of chocolates at Christmas, and which get the "bog standard" size!! ;o)
I’m confident
