Revoking user access
I'd like to revoke the access of an ex-employee to FreeAgent. I can't find any option to delete their user account or remove their login. Please can you advise?

Inappropriate?Tom,
Users aren't deletable if they have any payment, expense, timeslip etc data in the system.
We have overlooked the requirement that you have to disable their access - for which we're sorry.
We'll add the facility for the primary user (the one who signed up) to change any user's password, which should have the desired effect.
In the meantime, if you can email me (ed at freeagentcentral dot com) with the user details (your company account name, the user name) we'll change the password from our end.

Inappropriate?I think it would be better to add an extra field to disable a user if possible... you may have the situation where you want to temporarily exclude an employee from access - with just a tick box, they wouldn't need to remember a different password when re-enabled?!

Inappropriate?Ed, thanks for getting back to me quickly. I think I agree with djwhisky. It doesn't seem inevitable to me that an employee needs a FreeAgent login. Creating a login for an employee feels like it should be an option rather than mandatory. I've emailed you the details of the user account I'd like to 'disable'. Many thanks.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate? There really ought to be an option to delete the user account completely.
I have had to create a dummy account so that one of the FAC team could log in and check something out (bug fix) and now I'm lumbered with a completely useless user in my account.
It's not a massive deal, but it's an annoyance nonetheless.
I’m mildly annoyed this isn't implemented by default
