Salary balance should be zero
Hi - just started using this for all my accounts and it's great!
I am having one problem though - my salary has a balance brought forward for the first year, when it should be zero.
My company start date is March 07, and I've got a payroll set up for me (as the director), first payslip date April 07. But the balance brought forward is £22,857 - so all of the balance owed calculations are wrong. How can I get it to start at zero?

Can you just confirm that you haven't accidentally created a payroll in 06/07.

It sounds like you need to set the opening balance for your user account. If you click on People (in the sidebar of the Overview page) and click to edit your user account, you'll see the opening balances at the bottom of the page. Here you should enter the outstanding balances for you when the company was formed, so in your case the salary should be set to zero.
