Site still feels a little bit slow
This isn't a huge issue, but the site still feels a little bit slow to me. Are we likely to see any speed increases with future updates, or do I just need to get a better internet connection?

Inappropriate?Hi Tim,
The server doesn't appear to be under any significant load this morning -- no more than usual -- and performance seems fine from our end. Is there any particular area of the site which is causing you the biggest problem?
We do have plans to improve the performance of the service which we hope to put in place over the next month or two. We'll keep you updated.
I’m looking forward to making some big optimisations

Inappropriate?Hi Olly,
In general, the delay between clicking a link on the site, and something actually changing on the page seems to be quite long. But this might just be me being unrealistic about how fast a site 'should' feel. It doesn't feel particularly slow this morning. In fact, I can't remember ever having had a serious slow-down. I was just commenting on the 'feel' of the site in general. -
Inappropriate?Tim - there have been some occasions when the server has got a little sluggish - we reckon we know why this is happening and can fix that.
More generally, we are very aware that some of the pages take longer to load than we would like. The overview page is a case in point - there's a tremendous amount of data which needs to be put together to generate this page, and it shows.
Our goal is to have less than 1 second response times on all pages. That's not true of the overview page (between 1 and 6 seconds depending on how much data you have) and some other pages too, but we're actively working on how to improve that. There's plenty we know we can do and I'm confident that FreeAgent will only get faster in time

Inappropriate? Thanks for this, Ed. It sounds like you guys have got the situation in hand.
