Taxable income over £2,150 is WRONG. HELP...
On the self-assessment page, there is a line "Taxable income over £2,150". Where does this number come from. According to HMRC for the years 08/09 it should be 2320 and for 09/10 2440. Has anyone spotted that? Are the calcs correct anyway?

Inappropriate?Hello Luc,
Many thanks for reporting this problem to us.
You're quite right that this line is incorrect. I have checked the calculations, and in the situation where the 10% rate applies to savings income (i.e. not enough non-savings income to go above the threshold, which is quite rare), the calculations could be incorrect too.
I have added this problem to our list of issues to resolve, and in the meantime, please do accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,

Inappropriate?Hello Luc,
Further to my earlier reply, I would add to this that at the moment the Self Assessment tax calculations in FreeAgent are intended as a projection and a ball-park figure, to give you an idea of what tax is due. This is why the system doesn't produce Self Assessment forms.
We do, though, understand that the more accurate this area is the more valuable it is to our users, which is why it's good to get feedback like this so that we can improve its accuracy.
Thanks again for taking the time to report this to us.
Kind regards,
Emily
