The Daft thing won't let me go back to Draft! :s
Hi, Still playing around on the free trial and finding that once you get to know the order of things it's all quite logical really though can be a little frustrating at first. but this support site seems to have answers to most commonly asked questions which is great.
Here's a new one. I have added a new contact, project, task, time slip and finally invoice, and set it to payed etc. now i wanted to go through the process of deleting it all to start fresh as if it was entered incorrectly or other reason. I managed to do with with one contact that was created but not this one!
I have deleted all the time slips, tasks etc connected to the project, except the invoice as it will not allow me to return the state of it to DRAFT! only SENT, therefore i cannot delete it in order to delete the rest, the only thing that is different with this project and invoice is that it has my own unique REF: as opposed to one automatically generated by the system.
Is this a bug or am I missing something in order to be able to delete the project, invoice and finally contact?

Inappropriate?Hi Barry,
Did you add a manual transaction in a bank account and mark it as paid, or indeed explain a transaction in your statement as the invoice payment? Is the invoice actually marked as PAID?
You will need to delete the transaction explanation or delete the manual entry to change the status back to Sent.
From there you will be able to change the status back to DRAFT and then delete the invoice.

Inappropriate?All deleted! the invoice status is currently set as SENT but when i click to make as DRAFT is says "unable to mark the invoice as draft"!
It once was paid and has been reverted back the sent.There are no time slips or tasks associated with it anymore. but i still don't seem to change it draft. also this is the only thing left in the setup, my bank account says "0" but the app homepage Bank account says £xxx amount why is the homepage widget thingy not properly syncing with the bank or is it still showing all previous transactions.

Could you try again? We detected a small problem with an invoice in the system, which we've now fixed.
I suspect it might be yours.
Give it another go and let me know how you get on.

Inappropriate?Perfect!...that worked great thanks. but now i can't seem to find out how to delete the bank account. do you have to have at least one other bank account active before you get to delete the other one? It now has no transactions tied to it. I did delete the project with that invoice but then the only options you have is to add a project of invoice nothing else. so i added a project. now all navigation at the top is back and i can navigate to the bank but can't delete the account!
I'm really just playing around with things to see how it all works, what's possible and what's not really so sorry for being a pain. The only reason i want to delete the account is to see if it clears the amount showing as in the bank on the homepage!
Is it just showing all transcations since it was opened if so how can i clear this ready for when i want to stop playing around and add some real data to the system.

Can you have a look and see if there's any manual transactions in that account? Check forward and back in terms of months in that bank account. Transactions dated in the future are often missed.
Once you've removed all transactions you will be able to delete the account. However, this will revert your Overview screen to the Getting Started Wizard as part of our set up procedure is the creation of at least one bank account.
