Our recurring items do not currently work retrospectively, they only duplicate themselves when the actual recurrence date arrives.
Were you expecting to be able to create sequences of historical mileage claims? If so, and it's something more people want to be able to do, we'll certainly consider adding support for that to FreeAgent...
