What user access levels would you like in FreeAgent?
Over the past couple of releases we've been doing background work on improving the user permissions and access levels in FreeAgent.
We've got our own ideas about what we want to do to improve here, but we also want to know your thoughts.

Inappropriate?Hi Roan,
the only one I have any concerns about is the 'Employee' - who I think should be able to edit expenses/timesheets, view projects / contacts, but not have access to financials like banking / accounting.
Actually, that may be how it works now, but I couldn't find a good description of the different user permissions from anywhere near the new user page (hint ;) )

Inappropriate?It would be nice to be able to give clients permissions to come on and see their invoices... as well as maybe even seeing their estimates/quotes and approve them all online :)

If you want your accountant to be able to make changes to some of the more technical areas of accounting (like journal entries) you should set their access to full.
If you just want them to view the info then use the one below that, but full access is probably your best bet. -
Inappropriate?I don't need my accountant to see my contacts, my work estimates, projects & tasks and timetracking.
I do need my accountant to see my invoices, bills, expenses, banking, VAT and of course the Accounting stuff.
I would also like the accountant to be able to do "Advanced accounting", whatever that is :) It's enabled when you set permissions to Full, which is what I have now for my accountant.
