When will FreeAgent be available for Australian accounting?
Currently available in the UK, it is of some interest to potential users in countries with similar accounting regimes, such as Australia. What plans for internationalisation?

We're working hard, believe me!
We are launching our Universal version at the end of this month, which won't cover the specific tax regimes of any country but will allow you to do things like configure Sales Tax Rates, what to call Sales Tax etc. Simple reporting only.
Our plan is then to address, one country at a time, the tax-specific requirements along the lines of our existing UK pricing plans.
We'll be first covering Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand (in order of distance from the UK rather than necessarily the order!) based on similarity to the UK.
We could do with some help with localisation specifics (auditing our solution for correctness, probably by an accountant)...and we'll be looking for a handful of Aussie beta testers to iron out the wrinkles.
Could you help us with that?

Inappropriate?We can certainly make a stab at the tax handling from existing documentation on the web (so it must be true!). At that stage we'll open up to very limited beta testers and an Aussie CPA or two.
Help with locating both sorts of tester would be good, but bear in mind we won't be embarking on this for a month or three.

Inappropriate?Ric, just in case you didn't get the news, we launched FreeAgent Universal 10 days ago and are actively working on tuning it to Australian requirements.
