I have been defaulting to using smart user payments since I started using FreeAgent. I have just realised that it does not take into account my directors loan account... arggh. So basically, it looks as though it has been over drawing from my dividends, whereas i would expect it to take from salary, expenses, available directors loan, and THEN dividends.

My use case is that i often inject money into the business, i have simply been categorising this as a payment into the directors loan account, thus i was expecting this to be able to benefit me when paying myself from the business (i.e. if i have 1k available in my d loan account, it would draw from that).

Am i mistaken, or is the above correct? If so, what is the best way to get to a situation where money injected into my d loan account is actually taken into account when paying myself. Surely this is a logical candiate for the smart user payment process?
