Jason Coyne replied on March 15, 2010 22:13 to the question "More than one billing rate per project?" in FreeAgent Central:
I think the new functionality that has been implemented for % markup on expenses is the same functionality and would work with flexible billing rate.
Default is "bill at project rate" then if un-ticked you would get the % entry (ie. 50% for travel rate 125% for marked up rate [needs to be + or -] ) or manual type a rate in.
Bet the challenge is that you then have to retain this figure with the timeslip rather than the hours figure.
Keep up the great efforts - the results are fantastic.
Jason Coyne asked a question in FreeAgent Central on January 27, 2010 09:40:
Personal TAX and Deferred Consideration treated as capital gain.At this start of this year I sold a business from which I'm receiving part of the consideration over the next four years.
HMRC have confirmed that they will authorise it for capital treatment, which I understand means it is subject to the lower rate of capital gain tax
To have FAC control and display my personal tax return how do I account for deferred consideration classified by HMRC for capital treatment.
The deferred element of the consideration is £2100 per month for 48 months
Best regards,
Jason
