Flash runtime errors on the Video Stream NetConnection

I'm getting Flash runtime errors : Error #2044: Unhandled AsyncErrorEvent:. text=Error #2095: flash.net.NetStream was unable to invoke callback onXMPData. error=ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property onXMPData not found on vodco.media.control.media.video.VideoController and there is no default value.

A comment on the idea "Add items to estimates that don't get included in the overall total" in FreeAgent Central:

Close ... but I'd need to include a cost on the optional extras too. Ideally, it would be great to have multiple estimates in one. Difficult to convert to invoices though I guess. – Lee Probert, on February 10, 2010 22:04

How about adding items to estimates that don't get included in the overall total. That way I can include optional extras for my clients.

Provide the Banking data in the API so I can build an app that allows you to upload attachments from your iPhone. I got so excited about building this today but if you can only get Out-of-pocket expenses it isn't worth building.

Olly, me again ... I would have thought that the expenses Array would have included expenses from my Banking data. Is this not the case? If so this kind of shelves my iPhone app for the foreseeable future.

My intention was to build an app that lists all of your expenses and then allows you to upload a photo attachment but if I can only do that for out-of-pocket expenses it isn't worth doing. I need to add attachments to my bank data.

Ok, I managed to grab the source code from Rich and have tested it out using exactly the same code he was using to hit the service and I still get the HTML back as my response. I'm doing something wrong but it aint the headers. Olly, can you check that my API access is definitely enabled?

Hey, thanks for the quick response. There must be something up with the way I'm adding the Accept header to the request. Waiting for some feedback from the iPhone devs. Will let you know.

Hi Rich. Are you still in the process of developing an iPhone app for FreeAgent? If so, are you using the ASIHTTPRequest class to hit the API? Elliot, what client are you using to hit the API? Is it the ASIHTTPRequest class by any chance? I'm having problems hitting the API from an iPhone app and wondered if you might be using the same code.

I am not even being asked for authentication ... I'd assume that I should be asked before I even get a response from the server.

Would someone like to share their source for hitting the API in Objective C? I'm using the ASI classes which have been very easy to implement ... unfortunately, I'm not getting any results from the FreeAgent API but it works a treat with the Twitter API.

API URIs are just being returned as HTML ... I have the API enabled but when I use this : https://company.freeagentcentral.com/... I just get the HTML source returned instead of the XML. I've tested my code with the Twitter API and it works fine. I'm missing something about the FreeAgent method. Do I need to request the format like in Twitter?

I agree with this. Other Menu bar apps run as services and are quite happy being tucked away. All the 'service' apps like this that I run, like Evernote, dropbox, Notify and Growl do not appear as open apps when I tab between them. I can't use this app if it does this. It's lame.

Us mac users don't like apps that mess with the OS too much. Can I also say that it is this that turned me off Jing too.
