Right, I managed to find where qmake is distributed in a Fedora package - it's in qt-devel.
So I created a spec file and now have a working RPM.
Currently, the Makefile generated by qmake does not deploy any documentation or license file. You might want to modify it to do so - at the very least, applications usually install a license in /usr/share/ somewhere.
So, I'm happy. I just wish you could have helped out with this rather than leaving it for me to work out - I'm a paying customer, you know!!

Jaanus,
As discussed in [1], the source is not all that useful without documentation on how to build it, esp. since you're not using GNU autotools.
I'll happily build an RPM, as long as I have build instructions.

I've got about 4 years of bank accounts + paypal transactions to go through and reconcile. I've been putting it off because I'm sure it will be very painful.
I too would appreciate some help in working out the best way to reconcile everything (I have USD + GBP paypal transactions, possibly some EUR too)

Please make it possible to see the versions of TogglDesktop that are available for downloadCould you please make a download area available that lists available versions and architectures, rather than the current single link to "http://download.toggl.com/toggldeskto..." ?
I have had problems in the past with the link being stale and pointing to the wrong version. Also, there is no obvious way to grab the latest x86_64 version. Further, when (if) you finally get round to producing an RPM, you will need additional links to the .deb, the .rpm, and the x86_64 versions of both.

TogglDesktop v2.5.0.0.0 x86_64 core dumpsI used alien to convert toggl-desktop-2.5.0.0-1-amd64.deb to toggl-desktop-2.5.0.0-2.x86_64.rpm:
sudo alien -r toggl-desktop-2.5.0.0-1-amd64.deb
However, TogglDesktop core dumps when I run it:
[robin@hero toggl]$ /usr/bin/TogglDesktop
CookieStore::loadFromDisk: error loading cookies from '/home/robin/.cache/Apprise/Toggl Desktop/.temp-cookies'
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Robin Bowes replied on January 31, 2010 11:59 to the question "Do you support multiple currencies?" in FreeAgent Central:
Ed,
Here's the situation:
- Main account is in GBP
- Client needs billing in EUR
- Project is in EUR
I need to:
- Create expenses in GBP and bill them in EUR (eg. flight to Europe bought in UK)
- Create expenses in EUR and bill them in EUR (eg. incidental expenses, paid for in cash in EUR whilst in Europe)
- Create expenses that were paid for in EUR on a GBP credit card (transaction in EUR, appears on my credit card statement in GBP, needs to be billed in EUR)
I'll probably need to do a similar thing for USD too.

Robin Bowes replied on January 30, 2010 22:41 to the question "How can I include SWIFT payment details on my invoices?" in FreeAgent Central:
I've just hit this problem again now that I'm using FAC with multi-currency support.
I have several clients in several countries. eg. one in Ireland that I bill in EUR and the pay via Swift with one set of payment details, one in the US but who pays me in GBP so uses an intermediary bank so I also use Swift but with a different set of payment details, another in the US who pays me through paypal, etc. etc.
Any chance of having different payment details per client?

Project summary shows the wrong currency amounts (converts it twice)My account is in GBP. I have a project in EUR.
I've billed €4000 to the project, which is £3,467.17 at current rates.
However, in the Project Summary screen it is listed as "Already Invoiced €3,467.17" and the GBP grand total is listed as £3,005.31
